Dear Eleanor, I just learned of Bob's passing yesterday afternoon after I arrived from Nova Scotia. Had I known of this I would have come earlier so I could attend the service just as you both had attended my Mother's service last year. Mother always enjoyed seeing and speaking with you both. I also enjoyed seeing and hearing Bob preach at Immanuel.
I wish you and the family my sincere condolences. I, too, will miss him.

Once in a lifetime we encounter a special individual who we try to emulate and seek for mentoring. This great man advocated for my music, advised me through difficult decisions, and fought for me when I was too sick to do so for myself. I dedicated my book "Does God Sing ~ A Musical Journey" to him because he taught me how to BELIEVE in the stories of inspiration I was writing about ~ I would not be who I am today if it were not for this great man.
