Despite the fact that I played football at Southbridge High I was lucky enough to become friends with Rocky thanks to Bobby Daigle. He was a great guy and he never let the fact that I was from Southbridge get in the way. I was at Rocky's house with Bobby and several other Bartlett players the night that Houston ended UCLA's basketball undefeted streak and He treated me just like one of his own players. I want to send my deepest condolences to the family.

I would like to express my condolences to the Miller family at this time. As a coach the Rock had faith in me as a player and because of that faith I will always have good memories. He was a great mentor for his former players that later became coaches. Most importantly he was a great friend. A true American Hero of his generation. He will be missed but never forgotten!

Words cannot express how deeply saddened I am to learn of Rocky's passing. In my mind's eye I can still see him, a rugged, imposing, but ultimately kind figure lending words of encouragement and advice to his players. Other than my family, he was one of my staunchest suporters over the years. I already miss him greatly. My most heartfelt condolences to the entire family.
