Robert Sparhawk Obituary
Oxford - Robert W. Sparhawk, 58, of Oxford, died Monday, August 3, 2012 at home. He leaves his wife, Carol A. (Naddy) Sparhawk; his son, Bob Sparhawk of Rogers, AR; his father, Herbert W. Sparhawk of Auburn; his sister, Paula Burton and her husband John of Oxford; his brother, Steve Sparhawk and his wife Lisa of Part Angeles, WA; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, Lillian (Dawbin) Sparhawk on August 7th. He was born in Worcester, and raised in Auburn. He graduated from Auburn High School and Worcester Industrial Tech, Worcester.
Bob worked for many years as a senior field technician in the medical imaging industry. He enjoyed fishing, motorsports and spending time with his many friends at the Auburn Sportsman's Club, where he was a longtime member. He will be dearly missed by many. At his request, there are no services planned. The Britton-Wallace Funeral Home of Auburn is assisting the family with the arrangements. Paula and family, once again in such a short period of time I feel compelled to extend my deapest sympathy for this loss. Bobby and I socialized often at the Auburn Sportsmans Club in years gone by. I always remember his sense of humor and that great smile.
