Sami Mutlu Obituary
His wife of 51 years, Elsie (Bahar) Mutlu died in 1991. He leaves a son, Izak Mutlu and his wife Sarah of San Ramon, CA; a daughter-in-law, Dora Mutlu of Worcester; eight grandchildren, David Mutlu of Paxton, Sam Mutlu of Worcester, Daniel Mutlu and his wife Nina of Rye, NY, Lisa wife of Noah Rosmarin of Randolph, MA, Esther Mutlu of Worcester, Sima Mutlu of Brighton and Simon and Elizabeth Mutlu of CA; three great grandchildren, Jack and Elsie Richard and Michael "Saya" Mutlu. He was predeceased by his son, Moiz Mutlu and by his brother, Faik Mutlu.
He was a tailor for the former Supreme Coat Company and for Cottage Tailors from 1965 until his retirement in 1983.
He was born in Russia, a son of Boris and Sima (Chernovsky) Mutlu and lived in Istanbul, Turkey from 1923 until 1964, before moving to Worcester in 1964.
He was a member of Yeshiva Achei Timimim and the Tefereth Israel Synagogue.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on MONDAY, MAY 2ND in Perlman Funeral Home, 1026 Main St. Burial will be in Worcester Hebrew Cemetery in Auburn.
Memorial Observance will be held through Monday Evening at the residence of Esther Mutlu at 6 Longworth Rd., Worcester.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.

Dear Izak & Sarah, Dear Dora, David, Sami, Daniel & Nina, Lisa & Noah, Esti, Sima, Simon and Elis, past few months, and so many goodbyes. Last time we talked with Uncle Saya, he sounds so vivid and optimistic. We will always remember him as a great, fun person and will miss hearing his voice.

Please accept my Condolences. I was very shock to hear of your loss. I am sorry that it has been very hard times for your family since your beloved Dad passed away and now your grandfather. I wish you all lots of patience and peace. My heart goes to all of you. He was a wonderful father and grandfather. His energy and will to live has always inspired us. May go-d bless his soul.

We lost a great man. He was a great uncle. He open the door for our family to move to the US by being courageous. He had a good heart and was well liked by everyone he met. We should all have his nature and model his philosophy as that is what it takes to have longevity. My condolences to the family.

I am so saddened to hear your beloved Grandfather passed away. From what you have told me, he was a remarkable man. I am sure there is joy in knowing he had a full and rich life and the love of all who knew him.
