News Death Notice
MUTLU, Dr. Guneri "Baba" 83 of Clearwater, Florida, passed away on September 10th. He is survived by his beloved wife of Ulker Mutlu (known each other for 65 years), his 3 sons Ike Aykut Mutlu (wife, Katy), Michael Merih Mutlu (wife Lynn), Steve Semih Mutlu (wife Holly) and his 8 grandchildren: Tyler Mutlu, Matt Mutlu, Andrew Mutlu, Derek Mutlu, Madison Mutlu, Jake Mutlu, Micah Mutlu, and Eli Guneri Mutlu! Dr. and Mrs. Mutlu came to this country from their beloved homeland Turkey in 1959 and set up an OB/GYN practice in Springfield, Ohio for 28 years where he delivered over 4500 babies! A memorial gathering of family and friends celebrating his blessed life will be held on Thursday, October 8th from 5:00-8:00 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME. To Dr. Mutlu's family. I am sorry for your loss. I know it was a year and a half ago but loss is always hard. Dr. Mutlu delivered 3 of my 4 children. He was an amazing man and doctor.

My sympathy to The Mutlu family. I'm sorry I was unable to attend the memorial service for Dr.Mutlu. A a post partum nurse and later as the Lactation Consultant working alongside Dr.Mutlu, I hold very fond memories. He was a very skilled, caring Physician. Mrs. Mutlu and family, I had the pleasure to work with Dr. Mutlu for many years. I started in labor and delivery in 1986. He was always fun to work with. I remember fondly his retirement party when we had the bag ladies come in and do their thing. He was smiles from ear to ear. He was loving the attention! I have thought of him over the years since his retirement and wondered where he was and how he was doing. I know he will be sadly missed. May your fond memories help you through this time!! Thank you Dr Mutlu for being a wonderful man & Doctor. He delivered my son on his wedding anniversary making him late to get home. He said not to worry.

Guneri Amca was such a nice man. He always had a kind word for everyone and loved kids. He was a much beloved man by both his patients, family and friends. He will be missed and our condolences go out to Ulker Teyze, Aykut, Melih, Semih and all of his grandchildren. God rest his soul.

My sympathy goes out to the Mutlu Family for the loss of their patriarch ! Dr. Mutlu delivered my 3 boys and after their deliveries my mother would make Lasagna and take to his home in appreciation for a job well done !
