I had the honor of working with Sam in the late 70s. He was responsible for bringing me into the legal field and reminding me to be true to myself and proud of the firm I worked with. He was always someone you could go to if you needed the honest truth. God Bless the DeSimone family you are in my thoughts and prayers.

To Sam's FamilyThey broke the mold when they made Sam. His great sense of humor mixed with serious professional knowledge and wisdom were unique.
We knew him professionally and he will be missed.
Sam introduced us to his nephew David who eventually built our home in Chatham.
Condolences to all.

Anyone who knew Sam recognized him immediately as one of a kind. I first met Sam in the late 70's when I coached 2 of his sons in Babe Ruth League baseball. He later represented me on a number of issues, but the most important was in the adoption of my daughter. I will remember as an honest gentleman.

Dear Kristin and family,
Sam was a long time and dear friend. His low key sense of humor, his well-timed wisdom and his unshakable friendship make him one of the best in my book. We send you all much love.

I have had the great pleasure working with Sam for the past 5 years, seeing and talking with him weekly was one of the highlights of my week. Sam with his gentle soul and gentle nature who never carried a cell phone always kept his word. I recall he and I spoke about the US Air Force concert, asking if I shall attend with my family, telling him "Yes" and his promise to seek us out in a crush of people as he wanted to meet my family and just to say "Hello". Typical of Sam. He kept his word. This and other moments of Sam I remember always. My world is a bit empty without him. I miss him greatly. My well wishes to the DeSimone family. God Bless.

My heartfelt sadness upon the passing of Sam. I remember vividly
when Sam opened up his home to
Babe Ruth baseball players from Blackstone. Sam and Mrs DiSimone
were such wonderful and caring host.
A special place is reserved by God for
Sam.

Sam was an endearing friend to my parents, Allen and Jane McCarthy, and to our entire family. He was an usher in their wedding some 56 years ago. I hold many fond memories of Sam in my heart during my early years in Worcester. My deepest sympathy is extended to the DeSimone family.

Mr DeSimone will live in my memory as someone who welcomed his childrens' friends into his home; someone who's wry sense of humor left a smile on your face; a wise and generous person, and a true gentleman.
