To the Curnin family,
Tom the mailman was one of the nicest gentlemen you could ever meet. I worked at Friendly Ice Cream in Worcester for many years and Tom's face was always a welcome sight. Sorry for your loss.

Up until a few years ago I was his only granddaughter. He used to take me Irish dancing and came to every dance recital of mine. His closet door was covered in my old school pictures, tickets from recital and pictures I had drawn him as a child. I have never met anyone quite like my grandpa and it's clear that he was special to so many people. I know my family appreciates your prayers and condolences. He is in a much better place right now with my grandmother and a pint of Budweiser.

Love you always grandpa.

Jim – I will remember your Dad fondly. In earlier years he would tell me stories of his vacations to Hampton – other stories were mostly about where we grew up in “Northgate.” Most days he would hang out with me in the pool – while waiting for you to return from work. Always the gentleman – he would sit with me and say – you should never keep a pretty lady waiting. One day he surprised me with Mimosas and shrimp cocktail poolside.

He spoke of you often. How proud he was of his son – you could see it in the way his eyes twinkled – he was always happy to see you.

As he walked away you could always hear him softly humming.

Jim – You can be certain Irish Eyes will be smiling upon you Sunday.

To the Curnin Family...
I have many memories of when we grew up in 'Northgate'. Walking by the house as children and seeing Mr. Curnin working in the yard and hearing Irish music playing in the kitchen.
I have missed seeing him in recent years, but have thought of him and your family often. This is a sad passing for me and my prayers are with your family.
