Yvette Beaudette Obituary

Yvette J. Beaudette, 83, of 135 Maple St., died Sunday, May 2, 2010 at her niece's home in Southbridge after an illness.

She leaves her sister in law, Josephine Beaudette of Southbridge, two nieces, Ellen Beaudette and Linda Streng, three nephews, Louis, Robert and John Beaudette, a grand niece, three grand nephews, a great grand niece and nephew. She is predeceased by three brothers, Arthur, Ernest and Omer Beaudette and her sister, Jeanette C. Beaudette.

Yvette was a supervisor in the re-insurance department of State Mutual Insurance Co. in Worcester where she worked for 21 years, retiring in 1983. She previously worked at Thom McCann Co. in Worcester.

Born in No. Brookfield, she was the daughter Louis I. and Eva M. (Boucher) Beaudette. She graduated from David Prouty High School, and was an active member of St. John the Baptist Church and its Women's Guild. She was a member of the Lashaway Senior Citizen Club, and the Retiree Bowling League at Bay Path Bowling Lanes all in E.Brookfield. She volunteered for Meals on Wheels. She was a vibrant individual who was very active up to the time of her death, she will be sorely missed.

The funeral will be held Thursday, May 6 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Church, No. Brookfield Rd., E. Brookfield, burial will follow in Mary, Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 5 to 7p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Baptist Church, No. Brookfield Rd., E.Brookfield, 01515 or to a charity of choice.
