Judith Leach Obituary

Judith Ann Wilcox Leach of Tellico Village, Tennessee, passed away on September 1, 2024, due to septic shock.

Judi was born on January 12, 1951, to parents Robert Wilcox and Doris Hankinson.

She graduated in 1969 from Forest Hills High School, Ada, Mich., and went on to graduate from Central Michigan University in Speech Therapy. She later achieved her master's degree from Oakland University.

After graduating, her first job was in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and this began her career which culminated at Lake Orien Public Schools in Michigan.

She was both a speech therapist and the director of an early childhood education program. In 1969, Judi met her husband Joel at Central Michigan University.

Judi and Joel had two children, Jeremy and Ryan. Soon after retirement, Judi and Joel moved to Tennessee where she became involved in a woman's organization called PEO and was a committee member of a senior help group called Stay in Tellico.

She was preceded in death by her mother, father, brother and her son Jeremy. She is survived by her husband Joel and her son Ryan.
