Alex Brick Obituary

Alex Brick

Lebanon, TN

Alex Brick, age 64 of Lebanon, passed away on November 18, 2015. Alex was born in Memphis, Tennessee on November 22, 1950 to the late Jake and Kate Brick. He was a loving son, brother, husband, uncle, and friend to many.

Alex was an easy-going guy, and everyone agrees, he treated his wife, Sonja, like a queen. He had a giving heart, and was always there for someone when he was needed.

Alex owned his own business, Brick's Cues. He made pool cues and ran the pro shop at JOB Billiard Hall for many years. He loved his toys, too. He had (and played) several guitars, a collection of guns, and was an avid collector of performance sports cars. And of course, Alex loved rock-n-roll.

Alex is survived by his loving wife, Sonja Blackwell; brother, Larry Brick (Rachel); step-sisters, Barbara Stokes and Mary Hughes; step-daughter, Ashleigh Hessling (Tommy); grandson, Ledger Hessling; nephew, Jesse Brick; and nieces Kara and Savannah Brick, as well as many friends, all of whom he loved dearly.

The family will receive visitors on Sunday, November 22, 2015 from 2pm until 6pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home. A Funeral service to honor Alex will take place on Monday, November 23, 2015 at 12:00pm from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Holy Family Garden of Historic Spring Hill Cemetery with family and friends serving as Pallbearers.
