Barry Gilbert TAYLOR

TAYLOR, Barry Gilbert Age 57 of Dickson, TN, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ March 28, 2013 at his sister's home, with his family by his side. Born in Davidson County, he was the son of the late Walter "Boots" Taylor and Sally Fiser Taylor Manley. He was a 1974 graduate of Dickson County Senior High School, and previously worked at the United Methodist Publishing House before becoming disabled. He received an Associate Arts degree in engineering from Nashville Tech. He was preceded in death by his step father, Mr. John C. Manley and step brother, Walter Taylor, Jr. He worshipped at the House of Prayer - Trinity Church in McEwen, TN. Survivors include his sister, Nora Dawn Taylor Curtis and her husband Tony of McEwen, TN; his half brother, Charles Taylor of Conway, AR; his half sisters, Judy Viera of Paducah, KY, and Kim Dixon and her husband Mike of Lindale, GA; his step brother, Tommy Manley and his wife Linda of Dickson; several nieces and nephews, including two very special, Taylor and Treila Curtis. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday afternoon, March 31, 2013 at 2 p.m., from the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home, with Pastor Tony Curtis officiating. Place of rest will be in the Dickson Union Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, March 30th from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., and Sunday, March 31st beginning at 10 a.m. until time of service.
