We want others to know of Cathy's unselfish commitment, even during very difficult physical circumstances, to her "God", and to FCC's Prayer Ministry. Many times, she requested to receive others' prayer requests, to pray as they requested, even when she was struggling with her own physical pain, and, suffering. She was a help and an inspiration to many others!

This news is very sad. Cathy was in charge of the Graduate Department of Religion when I joined Vanderbit in 1999. She helped many students to learn how to do well in academia and was gracious and helpful to me as I adjusted to life there.
May her memory be a blessing for many.

Andy and Drew I am so very sorry for your loss. I knew Cathy many years ago as a friend, neighbor, loving wife and mother and as a child of

Today we celebrate the life of my sister Cathy Griswold while we here on earth are sad to no longer have this wonderful, caring and loving lady with us physically she will always remain with us in our hearts. Cathy is singing, dancing and praising in the presence of Our Lord and all the angels and I know she is smiling down on us and lifting us up in prayer. Love you dear Sis and will hold you in my heart until I see you again.
