To The Family of Charles,
Charles and I became friends in the 7th grade at Washington Jr High. He was a fun person and true friend. I was glad to see him at our 50th class reunion a couple of years ago. He was still “Chick” Johnson. My heart was sadden when I received the telephone call telling me he had passed away. I have the family in my prayers. Remember, weeping may endure for a night. But joy comes in the morning. God bless you.

Charles was one of my students at then Washington Jr. High School. He was a sweet caring person. Teachers never forget students like Charles. When I baked zucchini bread, I always remembered Charles because he seemed to enjoy eating it. May God continue to watch over you, Betty and give you peace. Love you! Foster & Leatha
