March 11, 2015. Preceded in death by parents, James & Frances McCall Utley.
Survived by wife, Terri Utley; sister, Alisa Utley; brothers, James III & Antione Utley; nephew, James (Tracey) Utley IV; brother-in-law, Donnie (Marjorie) Dobbins; a host of other relatives & friends.
A special thanks to 2nd floor staff at Trevecca Healthcare & St. Thomas Midtown Hospital.
Family visitation Sunday, March 15, 2015, 2-6 p.m., at Lewis & Wright Funeral Directors, 2500 Clarksville Pike.
Funeral Mass Monday, March 16, 2015 at 10 a.m., at St. Vincent DePaul Church, 1700 Heiman Street. Interment at Hills of Calvary Cemetery.

I had known Chris since my 20s, I moved interstate to care for my dad and was unaware of Chris passing..my deepest sympathies to to his family and lives ones his mom I always visited when down town as well as popping my head in to James, and dad always had a smile on his face as did Chris, Wonderful family! I am beside myself of Chris's passing and not being there for his service and family. God Bless you all, I am so so sorry for your loss.

I will always remember my first job out of college working with Chris aka Cutley or Mr. Utterly and our little crew. We had some good times and you were always kind and caring and you always seemed to lend a hand to others, and that is what I will remember most about you! Rest in peace Cutley!
