David Haines Obituary

David W. Haines, Jr.

Nashville - David W. Haines, Jr. passed away on January 16th, 2021. He was 64. Son of the late David W. Haines, Sr., he is survived by his mother, Mandy Haines, brother, Mike Haines, sister, Elizabeth Haines, wife, Kathryn Haines, and sons David and Matthew Haines. He excelled in athletics in high school where he won the coveted Oakes Trophy as the outstanding athlete at Central High School in Columbia, TN where he graduated in 1975. He worked for the State of Tennessee as the Coordinator of Elections and was the City Attorney for the City if Clarksville, TN. He loved golfing and was a lifelong fan of the St Louis Cardinals, the Titans, and Vanderbilt- his Alma Mater. Due to Covid, a memorial will be held when it is safe. In lieu of flowers, the family requested donations be made to CASA, Nashville or to The Leukemia And Lymphoma Society.
