Dear Family and Friends of David Orr,
I just learned of David's passing the other day from my sister, whose Christmas card was returned, and I am so sad. I was a friend of David's when I lived in Nashville in the late 1960's and 1970's. He was such a positive person to be around. David was caring and kind, brought out the best in others, and lived life to the fullest. Though we didn't stay in touch after I moved away, it didn't surprise me to hear about all that he contributed to his community in the past 30+ years. I know he must be greatly missed by those of you who were close to him.

You were on my mind. I called you and there was no answer. I looked you up and to my surprise and heartbreak, you passed away a year ago. You were a sweetheart and I will always remember you. I know that you are resting with our Heavenly Father.
