Edward Davis Cole

Nashville - Edward Davis Cole (Ed), 67, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away at his apartment on June 28, 2017, of natural causes.

Ed was cremated and his ashes scattered in Percy Warner Park along with those of his deceased mother, Jeanne Cole, on September 26, 2017.

Ed was born in Nashville, Tennessee on July 26, 1949. He graduated from Hillsboro High School and continued his education receiving a Bachelor's degree from Memphis State University.

Ed worked the majority of his life in various sales positions. He was employed as a Sales Associate for Hart's Ace Hardware in Belle Meade for 15+ years followed by a short stint with Merrill Shoes. He enjoyed running, golf and eating out. He was also an avid sports fan particularly for the Chicago Cubs.

Ed is survived by his cousin, Tom Wolf (wife-Connie Wolf). He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Ed and Jeanne Cole.

Ed left behind a very close group of friends at the Sportsman's Grill on 21st Avenue in Nashville. They thought very highly of him and him of them. They characterized him as someone who cared a great deal for others and was always supportive of their wants and needs. He will be sorely missed by all.
