Frances Bentley Obituary
Age 94 of Gallatin, passed away Sunday, October 19, 2014.
She was born to Hugh Alonzo and Loutie Hoffman Withers on February 25, 1920. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dero Duncan Bentley, Jr. in 1968.
She leaves behind her children, David Bentley (Nancy); Mack Bentley (Sherry) and daughter, Nancy B. Cunningham (Mike); six grandchildren, John Bentley, Brian Bentley, Allison B. Levis, Brooke Bentley, Rebecca Cunningham and Rachael Cunningham; and six great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Bentley graduated from Gallatin High School in 1939, attended Huntingdon College in Montgomery, AL. She was a life-long member of First United Methodist Church in Gallatin, and retired from the Sumner County Board of Education in 1985.
Visitation will be at 1 p.m. Friday, October 24th at First United Methodist Church, 149 West Main Street, Gallatin, TN, with the funeral service following at 2:30 p.m., and Interment at Crestview Memory Gardens. John Bentley, Brian Bentley, Patrick Bentley, David Allen Bentley, Bill Bentley, Paul Roberson, and Bentley Cheatham will serve as Pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First United Methodist Church.
Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com. Family Heritage Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

My Mother was Cornelia Hamilton Cage and married Richard Thomas Moore from Newbern ,Tn. I have known and met Frances and her Daughter Nancy. My grandparents were Harry and Julia Cage from Gallatin,Tn. Truly sorry for your loss. Sincerely Kirby Cage Moore
