Herman Lee CRAIGHEAD

CRAIGHEAD, Herman Lee Age 89 of Nashville, TN, passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2010. Mr. Craighead was an Accountant for Buchanan General Contractors and Eller Bros. Utilities Contractors for many years. He was an Elder and Deacon of Jackson Park Church of Christ, where he was a member for sixty years or more. Mr. Craighead served as a S/Sgt in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps. He was stationed in England. He is survived by his loving wife of sixty-three years, Ruth W. Craighead; sons, Thomas Lee (Edna) Craighead of Hendersonville, TN and Larry Dale (Vicky) Craighead of Allen, TX; grandchildren, Jamie Craighead and Joseph Craighead, both of Hendersonville, TN and Andrew, Matthew and Hailey Craighead, all of Allen, TX; sister, Robbie Deason of Madison, TN. He was preceded in death by his brother, James Craighead and a sister, Dean Ausborn Craighead. The family will receive friends on Friday at Spring Hill Funeral Home, 5110 Gallatin Rd., from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., and where funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, September 25th at 10 a.m., with Bro. Jim Olive officiating. Honorary Pallbearer: Elders and Deacons of Jackson Park Church of Christ. Friends and family will serve as Pallbearers.
