Dixon Springs - Age 97 of Hillsdale Community, Macon County, TN. Preceded in death by wife, Daphne Hoover Merryman, son, Ronnie Lynn Merryman, father, James Herman Merryman, mother, Maggie Gregory Merryman, sister, Lorene Hughes. Survived by: daughters, Brenda (John S.) Bryant, Nashville, Linda (Newton) Harris, Murfreesboro, Terri Merryman & husband Alan Frio, Nashville; grandchildren, Dr. James Edwin Bryant, Memphis, Mary Ross (David) Fowler, Winston, Salem, NC, step-grandsons, Jason Harris, Nashville, Brian Harris, Murfreesboro; great-grandchildren, Abgail Ross Fowler, Luke Bryant Fowler, Winston Salem, NC. He was a member of the Hillsdale Baptist Church & Masonic Lodge #664 F&AM. After 35 years, he retired from North Central Telephone in Lafayette.
Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at 2pm from the Hillsdale Baptist Church with Rev. Jeremy Wilson officiating. Interment to follow in Hillsdale Cemetery. Pallbearers: John S. Bryant, Newton Harris, Alan Frio, James Bryant, David Fowler, Kenny Cothron, Jason Harris, Brian Harris. Visitation: Tuesday from 4-8 pm, Masonic Rites at 7pm, at Anderson & Son Funeral Home and Wednesday from 1-2 pm at Hillsdale Baptist Church. Family request memorials to Hillsdale Cemetery.
