Joan and I lived in the same dorm at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. We were inveterate bridge players, who sometimes played all night. I remember visiting her family in Western Springs. Bob and I were both social workers. When he was in Madison, he stayed with Dave Condon and Jack Moffatt, who later became my husband. When my work for the state took me to the western part of the state, Bob and I always shared dinner and visits in Prairie du Chien. I introduced him to Joan in Madison as a fourth for bridge with mutual friends. I was at their wedding and stayed in touch for many, many years. I'm sorry this note is delayed, but hope the family can still share my most heartfelt sympathy. I am in touch with Dave Condon, and will share this sad news with him.
