Kevin Miller Obituary
Canton, GA
Kevin died peacefully at home in Canton, GA on July 11, 2014.
He is survived by daughter, Erin Miller; mother, Joyce Bass Miller; father, Wayne Miller (Nancy) and brother, Kasey Miller (Angela).
Kevin went to McGavock High School and was a graduate of Atlanta's Mercer University. He was a member of The Donelson Fellowship Church since age 10. Kevin had business and friends worldwide through his position as Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Universal Alloy Corporation.
A Celebration of Life will be held at The Donelson Fellowship on August 17, 2014 at 2 p.m., 3210 McGavock Pike, Nashville, TN 37214.
During a business trip to Brazil, Kevin met Marcos Santos. Despite Marcos' physical disability, he supports his family through painting. Kevin loved his art and was touched by Marcos' beautiful attitude and spirit. Kevin and Marcos emailed each other frequently, even though they didn't speak each other's language. Marcos inspired the quote that Kevin so loved, "Difficulties exist only to be overcome."
In lieu of flowers, Erin would love donations in order to purchase one of Marcos' paintings. She will then donate the painting to a charity auction. Please contact a family member for more information if interested.

Such a great person. First met Kevin through business, then became friends through our love of sports. Everyone should get to meet and be a friend of someone as good and nice as Kevin. I really miss him now.

He looks great in that picture. I remember him as a fast runner and popular person at Donelson Elementary grades 1-5. Most people wanted him on their team.
