Warm Summer Sun
Warm summer sun,
Shine kindly here,
Warm southern wind,
Blow softly here.
Green sod above,
Lie light, lie light.
Good night, dear heart,
Good night, good night.

Rose, I will miss you calling me turtle and our conversations. You became dear to me the first time I met you. You were always so sweet and kind. The last time I saw you, you looked well, but looks are deceiving. God have a time for us all and he knew you had suffered long enough. Rest in peace and you will always be in my heart. Love cousin Valerie Key.

Rose, I don't understand why you had to leave us so soon. I can still hear your voice in my head as we traded stories about little Phillip, and Spencer. It just seems like yesterday, you were at a terminal booking people in. I have a void in my heart, and I am in a fog......I hope once I see you tomorrow, this will become very real to me. Just know, we loved, and still love you. We were family, and still are. Our hearts are truly broken and your passing has hit home for all of us at the jail. Heaven has added a new edition of flower. It is now called the "Rose Vaughn". I miss you my friend. Rest in peace.

I thank God for the opportunity to get to know you, Rose. You were a great friend to me and my daughter. While I don't understand why you had to leave us so soon, I know that God has the Master plan and He makes no mistakes. I will miss you, but look forward to the day when we meet again on God's celestial shore. To the family, I will be praying for each of you during this period of sorrow. God bless you,
Respectfully,

To Roses's family I want to express my deepest sympathy. Rose was a lovely, sweet and kind person. She should not have suffered the way she did for so long. At least now she is at peace and in the arms of our loving Jesus. Please accept my prayers for the family in the coming days I know it will be a difficult time. Rose and my husband were co workers and "puzzle buddies" She will be greatly missed.
