This amazing, wonderful man saved my life, on a few occasions. From the time I was 3 until the age of 12 he performed several surgeries on my ear. If he hadn't I would not be here today. This breaks my heart to see this, I always wanted to find him to thank him for all he had done. God bless him and his family!

In June of 1986 I traveled to Nashville, Tenn. to meet with Dr. Glasscock 111 to discuss my Acoustic Neuroma. I couldn`t find a doctor in NY that had a lot of experience with my problem. I felt so comfortable with the fact that Dr. Glasscock had done over 600 of these operations so I decided to sign into Baptist Hospital and on June 4th. he performed the surgery and all went well. God Bless you Dr. Glasscock, I will always remember what a great man you were.

I had the chance to meet with dr Glasscock while approaching surgery for the totally Implantable Esteem middle ear implant, in 2007. Despite being a giant in the otologic world, he has always behaved humility, treating ear colleagues of any age as simple friends. So, he also mentored my first Esteem surgeries with great enthusiasm. A unique kind of doctor, a unique ....giant.

I am a former patient of Dr. Glasscock's. What
can I say? I adored him! When we first met, I was an intensive care nurse, so with my ICU personality, I addressed him as, "Crystal Pistol", to which he just laughed and laughed and then wanted to know which one of his former residents spoke to me about him. We were pals from the get-go. I found him to be quite frank, but thorough, expertly skilled, and very, very caring. For me, Dr. Glasscock walked on water. Luckily, I am now being seen by an ENT trained by him so I know I am good hands. RIP. Well done!!

Have been friends with Mike since we both worked at the old ENT hospital in Memphis back in the 1960s. Later, he was my go-to guy to help manage complex ear disease when I was an ENT in East Tennessee and he in Nashville. He was always extremely competent and professional. We had both started as really poor kids, I in Tennessee and he in Texas, and were grateful for the opportunities in life that we both benefited from. He used his multiple talents to heal, teach, fly, write and act for most of his life. Way to go Mike! We will miss you.
