I will always remember my Aunt Minnie for her fierce loyalty and love for her family. Also, she was a fabulous Mother Hen to nieces, nephews and neighbors. She never failed to find the good in others--for her it was not a strain or work--it came naturally to see our best traits and give us the credit. She took real joy in the grain in a piece of driftwood, the blooms in her backyard, the majesty of the clouds, and the purr of the merecats. She was proud of her family and friends, but was never so impressed with Man as she was by what God created.
Aunt Minnie was always eager for the next get-together or reunion and we had far too few, but the one she is enjoying now in Heaven is all the cause we should ever need to dry tears. I love and miss her.
