Monica MORRIS Obituary
MORRIS, Monica Paige Age 42 of Mt. Juliet. June 26, 2013. The Memorial Service is 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at The Glade Church (9000 Stewarts Ferry Pike, Mt. Juliet, TN) with visitation from 4 p.m. until the service. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to the Bands for Bishop at any Suntrust location. This organization assists children fighting cancer in the Mt. Juliet area. She was a 1988 graduate of Mt. Juliet High School. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend to many people. She worked at the Animal Care Center in Mt. Juliet for ten years. She turned into a "carny" self-employed concession vendor working at the Wilson County Fair among other local events. Paige was always helping others and her many kindnesses will live on. Survivors include husband of 11 years, Scott Morris; three children, Rubi Morris, Bradley Morris, and Jennifer Roddy; parents, Ray and Libby Nash; sister, Nikki (Matt Wilson) Edward; cousin, Jared (Becca) Fuller; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. This is one special lady! I was honored to get to know her and help in the care of her treatments. I will never forget all the laughs we shared together. You are defintely one of God's special angels now, up there in heaven making everyone laugh. I remember the first time I ever met her, she told me about Sugar Ray, her dad, and I loved her family as if they were my own. I will never forget your face Paige, and your "Afro" hair after your radiation treatments finished. Paige could always turn a not-so-good day into a day of laughter and joy! Scott, Rubi, and Sugar Ray and the rest of the family, you will forever be in my prayers!!! Wish I would have know so that I could have attended Paige's services. I know they were beautiful because she was!

I am sorry that you had to fight this battle Paige. You had a beautiful heart inside, and your outer beauty was and still is in the lasting images of you for all knew you,and will continue to remember you forever. I have said many prayers for you through the years and several have been said for your family especially in past week. God Bless you all and I hope that you Paige are looking down now and smiling because you do not have to fight this battle anymore and you have been set free from the pain.

Paige you were always such a positive person and made everyone laugh and I am so blessed to have been a small part of your life. You touched more lives than we can imagine. I'll miss you dearly, but know you are not suffering any more. I plan on seeing you again some day. I am one of the few people that was present the day Scott proposed to Paige! She was a person that believed in living life to the fullest, and she touched many people. I know her family will miss her. Please take comfort in knowing she is with God, becoming an angel for many.
