It was a pleasure to know Mr. Howard and his whole family. My prayers are with the whole family during this difficult time. What a joy and blessing you all have been in my life. The love this man had for his family and his family had for him was so touching. I look forward to meeting this sweet angel again in Heaven one day.

I am so sorry for your family's loss. Mr. Howard was a wonderful person and a great boss. He was so kind to me when my Mother got sick, while visiting me. He was also very kind to counsel me about my various job changes at BellSouth. He was a very astute, caring person. I will miss him very much. Denni Coker, Tucker, GA

Many people looked at roy and I as adversaries me with CWA and Roy with Bell South.Yes we were on different sides of the table during bargaining,But Roy Howard was a Giant when it came to dealing with people.Roy taught me a lot on how to work together to the betterment of the workers.Roy always came up with ideas that would serve the men and women working in the Telephone industry.Roy was to me one of the greats I got to meet in my career.Roy always told the truth and his word was solid. He never hesitated to tell some one his religious beliefs .When he retired he was sorely missed not only by BellSouth but the members of CWA.
My wife and I extend our sympathy to Lilly and the rest of the Howard family.
