Ruby was a gem. Those of us who were lucky enough to be a part of her life were truly blessed. There are so many wonderful memories - she'll always be with us.

I want to thank all of you for your kind words and memories of Mom. As I've said many times, that when I was born, God gave me two angels. Mom and Dad. I was so blessed for the life they gave me. I'm now celebrating them both being together again. I did my grieving over the last several months, seeing her everyday in her condition, knowing that she wanted to go home. I was blessed to be there holding her hand, Mom looking at me with her last breath before she took flight. Praise God!
I fly and skydive because of them, understanding the beauty and serenity of it all, thanks to both of them.
Again, thank you all and God Bless.........

My Aunt Ruby was unforgettable. She had a knack for relating to me and her other nieces, and she was an important part of all of our childhoods. I'll never forget when she and Uncle Frank took the ENTIRE Rosebank Elementary School third grade on a field trip to the airport!
She was a wonderful inspiration to me as a young girl. So many times as a teenager, I spent hours talking to her about my dreams and aspirations--being an actress and a writer--and she always listened and was supportive of my dreams. When I was taking classes at Peabody College, where she worked, we always made time to have lunch together frequently and talk and share.
When I left Nashville for my "great adventure"--finishing my college education in Montreal--she was genuinely excited for me and encouraged me to keep a journal to remember my experiences. (I didn't, but she was right because I wish I had!)
She will always be with me in my heart. I wish I could be in Nashville with my family today to say goodbye.
Love from your niece, "Judith Lulaine"

It grieves me to hear of your loss. I guess that Ruby was the last of the old Outlaw Field crew left as well as Dad's buddies, and she flew west indeed. You're in our thoughts and prayers.
