Jim & I were out of town when this great tragic death occured. We loved Shelley and enjoyed the times she, Noel & Troy visited in our home. We enjoyed meeting other family memebers at Noel's Birthday party. Our prayers are with you everyday. Jim & Anne Bryant

Janet and I are so sorry to hear of Shelley's passing. May God bless you with the strength you need during this very sad, tragic time. Aunt Margie, Uncle Jack, Jim and Pam -- you will be in our thoughts and prayers. I know words cannot express how you feel and there is little anyone can do to ease you pain. If there is anything that we can do, don't hesitate to let us know. (We have the same phone number and address that Dad had.)

I worked with Shelley at Vanderbilt Blood Bank many years ago. She was a lot of fun. One night she drew mustaches on everybody's picture IDs hanging in the closet on the lab coats. (The marks came off with alcohol.) I still have a Christmas Bear ornament cut out of wood that she made and still hang it on my tree every year. Last time I recall seeing her she was crewing for a hot air balloon at the annual hot air balloon thing at Percy Warner Park. She has left us too soon. Be strong and remember the good times.

Shelley was one of my students when she attended the Baptist Hospital School of Medical Technology. She was a very smart girl. I am so sorry to hear this news. May God's blessings be on you - Shelley's children and parents. And, may your wonderful memories of her be with you always.

I am shocked to learn that Shelley is gone, especially in this way. I will always remember doing the Mary Chaffin Memorial UMC history on film with her last year. I treasure that film.
My fondest memory is swimming with her and Noel. You are all in our prayers. God be with you. Rev. Jacquie Sojourner
