William "Billy" Ferrell, Jr., age 68, passed away October 7, 2014.
Preceded in death by mother, Ruby Richardson Ferrell; brother, Tommy Ferrell.
Survived by wife, Bernadette Ford Ferrell; step-son, James Derek (Nicole) Ritchie; brothers, Jim Ferrell, Ronnie (Barbara) Ferrell, Eddie Ferrell, Jack (Patricia) Ferrell; grandchildren, Jase Ritchie, Reese Ritchie.
Mr. Ferrell was a 1964 graduate of East High School and served in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Ferrell retired from Opryland Hotel in 2007.
Visitation Saturday, October 11, 2014 from 10 a.m. until time of service at Noon. Interment to follow in Hendersonville Memory Gardens with Military Honors.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Ronald McDonald House, 2144 Fairfax Avenue, Nashville, TN 37212.

Bernadette we are so sorry to here about Billy's passing. I just found out about this last evening and was totally shocked. Billy was always a fun person and cousin to be around. Just a short while back Billy and I were talking about getting together to play a round of golf. Our prayers are with you and your family.

Billy will be missed so much by all who knew him. He always made us laugh and was such a sweet man. We will miss him at our "Last Tuesday" gatherings.

Bernadette: I was shocked to hear of Billy's passing. Of course, I had just seen him in August at the East High Reunion and could hardly believe that this happened.
