A Celebration of his life will be held 1-4 p.m. Saturday at Climbing Bines Pavilion, 511 Hanson Point Rd., Penn Yan.

Thoughts and prayers for all of you. The Olson family, through longtime classmate, Kerry, has always been special to me and I'm so sorry for your loss. Shirl, your unwavering love of family made a strong impression me since my first childhood visits to your home. Word can not express my sorrow and deep since of loss. I have known Carl since before we were in kindergarden. He lived at 815 Cider Street and I on 815 Spruce Street in Elmira. We always spoke on our birthdays since they were just days apart. I will miss him so much but will look back on him with loving memory.
