He was was a great surgeon .... In the 70s when I was five ... he put the tip of my finger back on... my brother accidentally slammed it in the door jam.... I have full feeling at the tip of my finger...so thankful... he said I was so brave... that meant a lot being about 5 years old!.... He knew my grandfather DR Keller (mom´s adopted father)... now Spangler ..... I´ll never forget Dr Jimmersin.... RIP ... Jason Spangler , Prescott AZ

I first met him more than 5 decades ago when I worked for the summer at CGH (and to be truthful I cannot remember whether or not I was yet in med school). I assisted him during his diverse sorts of operations. I learned a lot, and have remembered this long ago time with great affection.

He was a fine and conscientious doctor, a meticulous and expert surgeon, and a good mentor.

My condolences to the family

I had the distinct pleasure and honor of working with Dr. Jimerson during my medical school and residency years at Cummunity General Hospital. We remained good friends for the rest of his life. he was the most gifted surgeon I ever met in my career. Operating with him and his team was a symphony in motion, not a move wasted, every part of a procedure precise and perfect. It was nothing to do a dozen major operations in a day and come back to the OR in the middle of the night for emergency surgeries and of course operate Saturdays. His surgical skill was unmatched. He was my role model and hero. I´ll miss our conversations and mutual admiration. I hope to meet him again someday in the ultimate mystery of our faith.
