John Hopper Obituary
John was a long time employee of Corning, Inc. and he enjoyed singing with the Finger Lakes Singers very much.
He is survived by his brother and sister in Law, William and Barbara Hopper of Penfield; Nephews, David (Abagail) Hopper and Jeffrey (Jennifer) Hopper; and 4 great nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Wednesday, July 8th from 6-7 p.m. at the LaMarche Funeral Home of Hammondsport. Funeral and committal services will be held there at 7 p.m. Wednesday. Interment will be in the Woodhull Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to the American Diabetes Assoc.

To the Hopper family...
My name is Mary-Anne Wainwright and I live in Albion, Michigan. My Grandmother's name was Mary Johnson (Hopper) and had a brother Thomas in Addison, N.Y.,and a brother John, buried in Bath in the VA Cemetary.There is also a nephew, George Harley buried there as well. The last name "Hopper" is so unusual I was wondering of the loved one who passed might be a relative!!!

I will miss his voice in our singing group. There will be an empty chair on his porch where I often spotted him reading and rocking. Rest in peace, John.
