Nancy was my Diabetes care person at IMAST. I was notified that my Aug. appt. with her was cancelled & my regular MD would cover for her. Little did I know why until I read her death notice. When I last saw her she gave no indication she was ill. She always was so pleasant & had a great personality & was very knowledgeable in her field. I will miss having her as my Diabetes care person. Sending blessings to her family & friends.

Nancy was a dear friend and colleague. I was honored to be her nurse as she served needy uninsured diabetic patients at the Health Ministry of the Southern Tier at the Corning Center for years as a volunteer provider. This role was difficult for her to give up when she became too ill to continue. We miss her friendship and compassionate care at HMST. Patti Gilchrist,BSN

We are just heartbroken over to learn this news. We had the pleasure of hosting Nancy and Bob at our lake house in Maine three years ago and had such a grand time. And we had the good fortune to spend a day with her and Bob and daughter Nicky two weeks ago. God bless Nancy, Bob and her family. Condolences and love to you all.

I give my condolences to her loved ones, especially to Nicky and Ben. I met Nancy about 22 years ago and was struck by her friendliness and warmth. She was a dynamic woman with a strong personality. I always admired her dedication to reaching her goals and her dedication to her children. In recent years when we would see one another, we would chat furiously and make promises to meet for lunch or dinner. I am sad that the business of modern life interfered with that. It's a lesson to seize each day. I wish I had made the time to get together with an old friend. feeling very sad....
