Peter Simek passed away peacefully at home January 17, 2014 at the age of 50 years. Son of Mrs. Vera Simek and the late Frank Simek (2009). Husband of Mary Simek and dear father of Alexander Simek. Dear brother of David (Kim) Simek and Irena (John) Kerr. Uncle of Katie, Stacie, Erik, Evan and Sarah. Remembered by many relatives in Czech Republic.

I just found out about Peter's passing and was shocked and saddened to hear. Peter was young and always liked to have fun and seemed to always have some idea to get ahead or improve. Good guy to hang out with, I will remember the good times we had. My sincerest condolences to his family and wife and son.

He was a hard working man. He was filled with ideas and passionate about his work. His laugh was contagious and always made me laugh. Pete, Alex and I had some really great memories together, memories that I will never forget. I miss you. Rest in paradise.

We remember so many deep belly laughs from Peter. Hard working and honest businessman. Good friend. You will be missed Peter. We are sad Alex that you have lost him so suddenly and much too young. Our thoughts are with you and your family.

Peter was a great friend. He had a hardy laugh and was an awesome human being. My heart goes out to Alex, Mary and the rest of his family. He will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.
