It's hard to imagine it's been a whole year since Ruth has been gone. Looking out my kitchen window at the blue house next door, I think of her every day.

We are remembering Ruth today, as her memorial appeared. She was a beautiful lady, inside and out. We missed her service a year ago as we winter in Phoenix. May memories bring some comfort in your loss.

Ruth brought sunshine into our home when delivering Avon products, and we enjoyed long conversations. We had so much to share; our wonderful children and perfect husbands, as well as local news and events. She was a grand lady. May your memories sustain you in this tremendous loss.

Ruth's gardens were the envy of the neighborhood, her cooking beyond compare. (Recipe's such as "Ruth's Red Pepper Jelly" and "Ruth's Chicken Casserole" will go on for generations to come); but her legacy will always be her love of family. Ruth's subtle, yet clever, sense of humor always brought a smile, and her kindness and generosity will never be forgotten.
