Peggy Colvin Obituary

Peggy Rogers Colvin, age 81, of Wilson, NC died peacefully on August 29 after a brief illness.

Peggy is preceded in death by her parents Thomas I. Rogers and Mary W. Rogers and brother, William G. Rogers, all of Person County. She is survived by her sister, Barbara Rogers Shell of Greensboro, NC, daughter Carla A. Colvin of Wilson, son Hugh F. Colvin Jr. MD, daughter-in-law Tisha S. Colvin PhD, grandchild Matthew R. Colvin, all of of Charlottesville, VA and grandchild Thomas N. Colvin of Los Angeles, CA.

A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at First United Methodist Church in Wilson at 2:00 PM on September 26, 2024. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Peggy's memory to the following organizations:

Just read about Peggy's passing today. Hugh, Carla, Barbara and family, know my thoughts are with you during this time of loss. Peggy was a good friend since we met working at Wilson Medical Center many years ago. She was such beautiful person and will be missed greatly.
