LARKSVILLE — Judith Sincavage, 80, of Larksville, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, April 25, 2017.
Born March 24, 1937, in Northolt, Middlesex, England, she was the daughter of the late Robert Smith and Winifred (Bivins) Smith.
Judith was a member of Dr. Edwards Memorial Congregational Church, Edwardsville. She was active as a volunteer at the church with many of their functions and projects. She was a member of the British Wives Club.
While in London, England, she had been employed by the designer Victor Stiebel as a seamstress. After her arrival in the United States, she was employed by the Leslie Fay Garment Company for many years.
Judith enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren; her companion of many years, Peter; and extended family, Gabrielle and Nicole. She enjoyed traveling and loved to sew.
She was preceded in death by husband Joseph J. Sincavage, who passed away in February 1991.
Surviving are her loving children, John Sincavage, of Larksville, Karen Stump and her husband, John, of Vestal, N.Y., and David Sincavage and his wife, Tammy, of Syracuse, N.Y.; three grandchildren, Derek Sincavage and Katie and Justin Stump; brothers and sister, Robert Smith, Henry Smith and Wendy Lincoln, all of Australia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Monday from the S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, 530 W. Main St., Plymouth. Entombment will be in the Oaklawn Mausoleum, Hanover Township. Friends may call 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Contributions, if desired, may be made to the Dr. Edwards Memorial Congregational Church, Edwardsville.
