Elie Pigron Obituary
LAFAYETTE - A Celebration of Life will be held on Veteran's Day this Friday, November 11, 2016 from 5:00-8:00 pm at Walters Funeral Home for Navy veteran Elie Pigron. He passed away on November 8, 2016 at 90 years old.
Survivors include his wife Jeanne Broussard Pigron of Lafayette; two daughters, Barbara P. Tucker and Linda Pigron, both of Lafayette; three sisters, Mazie P. Barthe of Maurice, Aline P. Broussard of Lafayette and Edna P. Boudreaux of Maurice; one brother, Jimmy Pigron of Maurice; five grandchildren, Stonie (Monica) Roger, Lynda Landry, Shannon (Debbie) Landry, Daniel James (Zelma) Leal, and Lynette Gary;and seven great-grandchildren, James Roger, Elie Leal, Shanae Landry, Dillon Smith, Courtney Gary, Tyler Albarado, and Jake Estrada.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edna and George Pigron, five sisters and one brother.
Elie worked for the Lafayette Parish Housing Authority for 50 years prior to his retirement.
