Aunt Aline was the most amazing woman, both strong & gentle. Her laughter was infectious & her smile could light any room. You, her beloved children, are each blessed to have so much of her character & personality. We pray that you will be comforted by God's love & your love for one another during this time of mourning.

I didn't know until the funeral that your mother's middle name was Cecile, as is mine (and "Mea" - Ada Cecile). I also did not know she was from Napoleonville, where Mamie lived for some time. Although our connection with your mother was in later years through Kathy, my best memories of her are from the library. She was the nice lady - she was always so happy and kind. I know all of you will miss your mother and grandmother.

I would like to send my deepest condolences to your family. Ms. Garrett will be greatly missed by myself and all her friends she has made at Lakeview. Every morning she greeted me with a "Good morning bae" and a smile which really made my day. She was a pleasure to take care of and will always have a place in my heart.

Danny,

I am sorry to hear about your mom. I go back a long way with her, through the Pointe Coupee Parish Library where I "lived" when I was a young girl. (ha) She was always such a sweet person. I saw her about a month ago at Lakeview and gave her a great big hug. My thoughts are with you and all of your brothers and sisters. God bless all of you.
