Barbara Webb Bessix

Barbara Webb Bessix, a native of Lottie & resident of Maringouin, La., passed away peacefully at the age of 74. Visitation & religious services Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Mt. Gideon Baptist Church, 77700 Westoak Ln., Maringouin, La. at 9 am until religious service at 10 am. Conducted by Pastor Rod Scott. Interment Church Cemetery. She leaves to cherish her memory a loving and devoted husband of 54 years, Joseph Bessix; one son Trinity Bessix of Maringouin, La.; one sister Seathere (Daryl) Stines of Port Allen; two brothers Verus Thomas of Kenner, La. and Kenneth (Samynthia) Thomas of New Orleans, La.; one brother-in-law Thomas (Malana) Bessix of Maringouin, La.; four sisters-in-law Beverly Bessix of Baton Rouge, Gloria Bessix, Gloria Webb and Joyce Wesley, all of Maringouin, La. Sister Barbara was preceded in death by her daughter Gabrielle Bessix; parents Bertha Webb and Dorsey Jones; three brothers Milton Webb, Ivory Thomas & Robert Thomas; a mother-in-law Lucille Bessix and father-in-law Phillip Bessix Sr.
