Donald Sellars Obituary

He was a retired accountant with Kaiser Aluminum of Gramercy and employed as an accountant with Louisiana Office Products of Harahan. A resident of Avondale, he passed away at 1:45 p.m. Friday, April 22, 2011, at Canon Hospice of Jefferson at age 67. He was a native of Livonia and an Air Force veteran, Visiting at Baker Funeral Home chapel, 6401 Groom Road, Tuesday, April 26, from 10 a.m. until religious service at noon, conducted by Deacon Willie Berthelot. Interment in Port Hudson National Cemetery. He is survived by two sisters, Betty and husband Ronny Lopez, of Denham Springs, and Brenda and husband James Noble, of Baker; and brother, Chris Sellars, of Baton Rouge. He is also survived by a very special friend, Chasity Landry, who was like a daughter to him; special aunt, Gloria Sellars; as well as special friends, Bob and wife Diane Landry, Chella Landry, Nikki Hall and Mary Landry. Preceded in death by his parents, Jacob "J.C." and Nola Sellars; and brother, James "Raby" Sellars. Pallbearers will be Chris, David and Steven Sellars, Brian Noble, Randy LeJeune and Robert Landry.
