Felix Hatch Obituary

Felix Hatch Sr. was born April 21, 1929 in Rosedale, Louisiana to Ivy Hatch Sr. and Olevia Hawkins Hatch. He was called and baptized at an early age. Brother Felix moved to Baton Rouge in 1946. He was educated in the East Baton Rouge Parish School System. Felix provided and raised his family in Easytown. Felix's work ethics was unmatched, extending sixty-years as a Master Cement Mason with Boh Brothers Construction Co. and various jobs throughout the state of Louisiana. Felix Hatch Sr. married his childhood sweet heart and to their union seven children were born. Together they built a stable and loving home. He was a faithful member of Donaldson Chapel Baptist Church. He was a Deacon, a member of the Marriage Ministry and an active Sunday school participant. He was deeply loved by many and he will be greatly missed. Brother Felix departed this life on Saturday December 25th, 2021 at 11:05pm. He leaves to cherish his memories one daughter Nedra Darlene Hatch Sutton (Dalton), of Jonesboro, Ga; one son Felix Hatch Jr.; a grandson whom he raised, Brian Hatch; one brother Leroy Hatch (Rosemary), all of Baton Rouge, LA; one sister Lillian Perry of Rosedale, LA; one brother-in-law Edward C. James (Patricia). He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Victoria; five children Clarence Edwards Hatch, Sr.; Pearline Hatch, Ivy Ray Hatch, Vera Faye Hatch Givens, and Kenneth Wayne Hatch; five brothers; one sister; two sister-in-law's; and one brother-in-law. May he Rest in Peace. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 6th, 2022, 4-7pm and Services will be held Friday, January 7th, 2022 at 11am both at Winnfield Funeral Home 7221 Plank Rd. 70811.
