Sally - I was so shocked to read your e-mail. Just doesn't seem possible. It was a sad day and a sleepless night for us both. In my minds eye I see all of us as we were 30+ years ago, but Lord knows that's not the case. It's hard to imagine you and Frank not together, but with faith and your family you'll get through this. You're a very strong person. Frank - and you - have a special place in our hearts. Time and distance have kept us apart, but you were always there. Remember that. If there is anything we can do please let us know. Keep the faith. God bless .
Love,
Lynn & Dick

Sally and family,
Syl and I were saddened to learn of Frank's death. He and I served together for one year and seldom would you find a soldier with his fine qualities. His devotion to his job and those he worked with was an inspiration. He will be truly missed and our prayers are with you during this difficult period.

Dear Ms Sally, Shane, Dallas and Donna,

Just know that you are all in my prayers. May God be with you in this time of sorrow and always. Donna, I am here if you need someone to talk to.

I look back on all the "softball times" and it seems like it was 'just' yesterday!

Mr Frank was more than my coach; he was my friend. He believed in me, as he did ALL of us, and was an inspiration on and off the field!!

He will be greatly missed, but I will hold the memeories close to my heart.

My friend, Soldier and Coach,
I know you are at PEACE now, the battle is finally over but just know: you left footprints behind that will be in my heart for a lifetime.

I thank you for your time and dedication as a coach and thanks for being such a good friend.

I WILL MISS YOU, "SARGE"....

Sincerely,
Ash #20

During my tour with the 183rd, Frank was my best bud. Our bunk areas were side by side and we had some truly great times. I was so ssaddened to receive this news. My heart goes out to his family.

To the Weems family:
I learned of the death of Frank through our mutual association with a 'band of brothers' who served this nation in the 183rd Aviation Company in Viet Nam. I never had the opportunity to meet Frank, but from the obituary it seems that he lived the life we all aspire to. We never leave that "band of brothers" who are held dearly in our hearts, but we also learn that the true and most meaningful associations are with our closest family. May God richly bless all of Franks dear loved ones and may he bring peace and understanding to your hearts.
