As a young boy growing up at my Grandma & Grandpa's house next to the Sauceman family I was able to learn a lot from Mr. Carl. Mr. Carl loved his family and he loved Ascension Parish. He did an excellent job many years a go with WSLG Radio Station when it was a Country Station. He beleived in broadcasting a lot of events about Ascension Parish. Ms. Sauceman thanks for sharing Mr. Carl with the Ascension Parish Family. We will indeed miss him.

To The Sauceman Family,
You all have my deepest sympathy with the loss of Mr. Carl. I enjoyed growing up with Joann and Terry and alway's being welcome at WSLG. Even though I was a kid he taught me a lot about the radio station.

To the Sauceman family...
Thanks to Jim Brock, I was able to obtain several records and radio transcripts Mr. Sauceman made while at WRAG in Carrolton...this music has been a regular feature on my COUNTRY MUSIC FLASHBACK radio show over the past year. I informed my listeners of the passing Saturday morning during the show, which resulted in numerous phone calls from those telling Carl Sauceman stories. On behalf of everyone in my listening audience, our thoughts and prayers are with you.
