Joseph Bell Jr. Obituary

Joseph Lee Bell Jr. was born on November 20,1982. He was called back home in the early hours of July 9, 2024, due to an enlarged heart. Joseph was loved by so many: his parents, Joe & Rhonda Bell, his adoring wife for over 22 years, Jennifer Bradford Bell, his two wonderful sons & their girlfriends who have become family, Ethan David Bell (Savannah) & Chandler Scot Bell (Taylor), and his two sisters, Jodie Gill (Rob, Gabby, Hunter, Logan, Ashley, Bentley, and Averie) and Alyssa Bell. He was preceded in death by his maternal Grandpa, Uncle David Bell, Big Paw Paw, Maw Maw Punkie, Uncle-in-law, Dennis Montgomery and brother-in-law, David Gill. He is also survived by his wife's family who had become like his own. Her parents, Bob and Dee Bradford, Shanna & Mike Klung (Nick, Casey, Emily, Justin, Charlie, Maddie, Kayden, Daisy), Rob & Julie Bradford (Elysa & Jordan Archibald-Rowynn, Lena, Westley), Brian Bradford (Kira, Kat, Mason, Matthew, Charlotte), Raina & Brad Williams (Annabelle, Luke, Andrew, Lilli, Alice Mae), Gordon & Alison Bradford (Austin, Jules, Ava). He has countless extended family that shaped his life and he loved so dearly. Joseph was a graduate of Walker High School with a year of SLU under his belt when he found out his first born, Ethan, would be coming Earth side. He quit school to provide for his family and worked hard framing homes with his Dad & Uncle Jimmy Bell for many years. He knew everything there was to know about the construction of a home. After a slew of various jobs, he finally found the right fit with DR Horton. He always loved working with his hands, spending time with his family, working out and walks/ talks at the local park with his wife. He was a lover of traveling, tattoos, music, golf, trashy reality TV with his wife and future daughter in law, and whatever hobby may fancy him at the time. He was full of laughter, often joking and being a big kid. Joseph was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and loved teaching the youth Sunday School class with Jen. He had a strong testimony that families can be together forever after departing this earthly home. He was willing to help those in need anytime, anywhere. He was a wonderful father and great example to his boys, he also shared an unbreakable bond with his wife. Although, his loved ones left behind, miss him tremendously, they are comforted knowing he is with our Heavenly Father. Joseph will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His celebration of life will be Saturday, July 13, 2024, with visitation at 10:00 with a Life Celebration at 11:00 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 25367 Riverton Ave. Denham Springs, LA 70726. Joseph, you were a great friend. I´m sorry we didn´t get to hang out more in the past year or so. But I bet if I called you out of the blue and asked for a favor, you´d help without hesitation because that´s the type of person you are. I´ll always have fond memories of our concerts together, couples trips, family camping trips, shooting and axe throwing, working out, our grand kayaking adventures in Arkansas, and just the conversations we had about life, music, and TV series we were watching. You are gone too soon, my friend. My love and condolences are with your rock, Jen, and your awesome sons. I´ll miss you.

Jennifer, my heart aches. Watching you and Joseph together was a beautiful thing to witness. You could see the love you had for each other so clearly. I´m sorry that the boys will no longer have their rock in their lives. Joseph left this physical world too soon. His spirit will live on with you eternally. My love is with y´all forever and ever.

Oh Jennifer, my heart aches terribly for you and your boys. You and Joseph were the perfect couple, always beaming with love and happiness. I know your world may seem like it´s crumbling, losing your sweetheart so unexpectedly, but I just know that Joseph will continue to love and protect you from the other heavenly side. I´m sending so much love to you and your family during this awful time.
