Joyce Rader Obituary

Rader, Joyce Freiler "Dance as if no one were watching;/Sing as if no one were listening./Live every day as if it were your last!" Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2005, was Joyce Freiler Rader's last day on earth. She was murdered in New Orleans and then she went into God's arms! She was a lifelong resident of New Orleans, where she was born Aug. 23, 1969. She was a prep cook. She is survived by her mother, Dorothy McDaniel Rader, New Orleans; sister, Jody Rader Battaglia, Mansura; niece, Jessica Tee Marie Battaglia, Mansura; nephews, Donnie Panarello Jr., Port Vincent, Joseph Battaglia IV, Mansura, and Buford and McDaniel Frazier Jones, Slidell; and three aunts and three uncles, Loyce Taylor, Glenda and Arthur Willes, Bob Pearce, all of Baton Rouge, and Allen and Sue Hamlett, Powell, Tenn. She was preceded in death by her father, David Ernest Rader Sr.; two sisters, Tee Frances Rader Panarello and Anne Frazier Rader; and brother, David Ernest Rader Jr. Visitation on Saturday, Nov. 19, at McKneely Funeral Home, Kentwood, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Religious service in St. Theresa's chapel at St. Mary of the Pines in Chatawa, Miss., at 2 p.m. Saturday. Interment in Woodland Cemetery, Kentwood.
