Kathlyn Ramagos Obituary

Kathlyn "Kay" Ann Guillot Ramagos passed away at Lake Sherwood Village in Baton Rouge, at the age of 88. She was a native of White Castle, former resident of Cut Off and Brusly. Kay was a homemaker. Visitation will be at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Brusly on Tuesday, July 30, 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., celebrated by Rev. John Arun. Entombment will be private at Grace Memorial Park Mausoleum in Plaquemine. Kay is survived by her children, Chris Ramagos (Marie), Debbie Mancuso (Joey), Cherrie Ferguson (Bret), and Sandy Boudreaux; three grandchildren, Brent Mancuso (Jana), Brandi Mancuso, Taylor Berthelot (Quinton); four great-grandchildren, Beau and Sydney Mancuso, Nova and Ryder Berthelot; siblings, Ray Guillot and Carol Dugas. Kay was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Ramagos Jr.; parents, Lazard and Inez LeGlue Guillot; father and mother-in-law, Sidney Sr. and Mabel Quatrevingt Ramagos; sisters-in-law, Myrtle Guillot and Patsy Ramagos; and brothers-in-law, Kelly Dugas and Richard Ramagos. Kay was a volunteer at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and was active in The Zippers for many years. She enjoyed playing Pokeno with her ladies group.
