Kenneth Matthews Obituary

MATTHEWS, KENNETH DANIEL An electrician with International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 995, he died Thursday morning, March 18, 2004, at Summit Hospital, Baton Rouge. He was 39, a resident of Walker and native of Baton Rouge. Visitation was at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, from noon to 9 p.m. Saturday, March 20, 2004. Visitation at the funeral home from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, March 21, 2004. Visitation at the funeral home from noon until service in the chapel at 2 p.m. Monday, March 22, 2004, conducted by Deacon Peter Schlette. Burial in Evergreen Memorial Park, Denham Springs. He is survived by his father, Bobby Matthews Sr.; mother and stepfather, Liz and Bill Myers; stepfather, Joe Moore Sr.; two daughters, Kadie Savannah Matthews and Brianna Coleen Howe; a son, Morgan Daniel Matthews; a stepdaughter, Shanna Sartin; two stepsons, Josh and Dustin Mancuso; a sister and brother-in-law, Kathi and Tony White; brothers, Bobby Matthews Jr. and his girlfriend, Cheryl Gaddis, Russell Anthony Matthews and his girlfriend, Alana Riley, Joe Moore Jr. and his wife, Nicole, Mark David Moore and his wife, Nona, Billy Matthews, Clint Matthews and Tom Myers; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles and many, many friends and union brothers. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marlene Matthews; maternal grandmother, Claire Heil; and paternal grandparents, Irma and O.C. Matthews. He was of the Catholic faith.
