Liz Willis Obituary

Liz Willis, age 79, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 19, 2023. She was a resident of Clinton, LA. Liz was a member of Grangeville Baptist Church and was dedicated to her faith. She was a true Christian woman who shared the Word with anyone she could. Liz enjoyed travelling and went all over the country with her husband. She was happiest surrounded by her family. Liz loved her daughters fiercely and her grandbabies held a special place in her heart. She was an extremely selfless woman and always put others before herself. Liz was genuinely kind, overly caring, and quite simply an incredible woman who will be deeply missed. Liz is survived by her husband of 25 years, Jim Willis; daughters, Sindy Gosnay (Richard), Sheila Bergeron (Rodney); son, Troy Willis (Brandi); sister, Kathy Porter (Skip); brother, Jerry Fullam (June); grandchildren, Mandy Brant (Luke), Christi Hamby (Bob), Brandon Cadle, Nicole Willis, Chloe Vaughn; great-grandchildren, Gueslee Bownell, Payten Brownell, Arden Hamby, Kai Hamby, Cameron Hamby, Elijah Cadle, Kinslee Cadle, Ailis, Jaiden; sisters-in-law, Brenda Willis, Judy Nichols, Elynda Robert, Sharon Traylor; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Grace Fullam; brother, Richard Fullam; grandson, Justin Cadle; and niece, Zynda. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation from the chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home at 7738 Florida Blvd. Denham Springs, LA 70726 on Saturday, February 25, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until the memorial service at 12:00 p.m. Condolences and other information may be found at www.thompsoncares.com.
